Are you one of those, Christmas lights, and holly types? Presents bought in July -type of people? I've developed issues with Christmas people, which makes this time of year so very difficult for me. Very difficult.
I once lived with a roommate who was obsessed with Christmas. Over the top, crazy obsessed. November 1st (Thanksgiving is in October in Canada, so the last holiday before Christmas is Halloween) our apartment was decorated with Christmas statues, holly, lights and her Precious Moments figurines (I hate those more than Christmas!). I came close to killing her so many times. Fortunately, my mom raised me with the knowledge that a black girl, no matter how cute and articulate, could never get away with murdering a blond hair blue eyed woman, no matter how justified. And it was justified. Everyone who came over to apartment, including her close friends, were like "How do you do it?" I'm a f-cking saint. One day the world will know.
Lol, not obsessed, not like you ex roommate Nicola. And hey, as long as she put everything away afterwards. I don't mind putting Christmas stuff up, putting it away is... no fun.
I can appreciate your issues with Christmas people, as i do know how you feel, because of my own issues with... people who hang out at coffee shops all day!! :)
